Film "Special Offer" released

Summer is upon us. And as the Euro2012 will take all the attention of viewers around the world we hope to catch some attention with our announcement

that the short film about Lulu Wang's new novella 'Nederland, wo ai ni' is finished.

With a new title the short film "Special Offer" tells the small tale of the Chinese Qiangwei who comes to the Netherlands just to find out that

walking the streets in Maastricht is a bit of a challenge, especially if you have high heels. A quest for comfortable shoes is set upon her.

A succesful shoot

After a very successful shoot last weekend in Maastricht, I am set for a few weeks of intense editing. I am glad that our sponsors Camalot, Lichtmacht, Streukens hooroplossing, Restaurant La Chine and Eden Design Hotel were very supportive. The crew and I had a great weekend! And I thank everybody a lot!

Actors ready to shoot

After an inspiring rehearsal day our actors Wanting Li and Freerk Bos are well set and prepared for our filmshoot.

In less than two weeks time our shoot will commence in Maastricht.

After a very productive afternoon of interviewing many potential actresses, our final decision has fallen upon the talented Wanting Li, a Dutch/Chinese actress from Utrecht.

She will star in our short film, based on a story from 'Nederland, wo ai ni', a novella by well-known Dutch-Chinese author Lulu Wang.

We wish our actress lots of luck and success and a warm welcome from our team!

We have closed the applications for the audition for our role in the short film. We are very grateful for the great amount of talented potentials who have emailed us for our film. We are now making our final selection for the audition round. Thank you. Filmdirector Jimmy Tai & his team.

Chinese actress wanted 18-24 years old.

For a new short film, based on a story from 'Nederland, wo ai ni', a novella by a well-known Dutch-Chinese author Lulu Wang, we are searching for a young Chinese actress, around 18-24 years old. 

Our ideal actress is spontaneous, attractive, slender, not taller than 1.65 meter, needs to have an ambition to act and be fluent in English. And is preferably recently relocated from China to The Netherlands. Experience in acting is definitely a plus.

If you think you meet above requirements:

You need to be available in weekends in October 2011 for casting purposes.

You need to be available in weekends of November 2011 for rehearsal and shooting.

What is in it for you?

This is a good chance to build up your acting resumé.

This is a low budget film, no fee is available, but of course your (travel)expenses will be covered.
